Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Verably," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using verably.io, you agree to them. They're written to be read, not skimmed past — the parts that matter most are what you're responsible for when you send outreach, and what happens with billing.

What Verably is

Verably drafts recruiting outreach — emails, follow-up sequences, and social posts — from material you provide: job details, your content library, and your settings. Verably never sends email. You review every draft, copy it into your own mail client, and sending is always your own act.

Your account

You need an account to use Verably, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Keep your credentials to yourself, tell us if you suspect unauthorized access, and give us accurate information. You must be at least 16 and using Verably for professional purposes.

Your responsibilities when you send outreach

Verably drafts; you decide. Before you send anything, you are responsible for:

• Accuracy. Drafts are built from the material you supply, and our system is designed not to invent claims — but you are the one asserting them to a real person. Confirm that what an email says about your company, role, or compensation is true before it leaves your outbox.
• Compliance. Anti-spam and email laws (such as CAN-SPAM and their equivalents where you operate), employment and recruiting regulations, and any rules your own employer or clients impose all apply to email you send. Verably does not send on your behalf, so compliance in sending is yours.
• Candidate data. If you add recipient names or other candidate details, you must have a lawful basis to use them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Verably to:

• send spam or bulk unsolicited email;
• deceive, harass, or impersonate anyone;
• misrepresent a job, employer, or terms of employment;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or access another user's data;
• resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for abuse, prepaid fees for the current period are not refunded.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans bill through Stripe, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on our pricing page when you subscribe.
• Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. You aren't charged until the trial ends, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
• Each plan includes usage limits (such as generations per month). Limits reset every 30 days.
• You can cancel anytime from billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; we don't prorate partial periods.
• If a payment fails, we'll tell you in the app and retry. If it keeps failing, your plan drops to the free tier.
• Price changes never apply mid-cycle — we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a renewal at a new price.

Your content and ours

What you put into Verably and what it drafts for you is yours. You give us only the license we need to operate the service — to store your content, process it to generate your drafts, and show it back to you. We claim no other rights to it, and we don't use it to train models. The Verably software, design, and brand are ours.

The service, as-is

We work to keep Verably reliable and its drafts honest, but the service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Drafts are produced by a language model and can be imperfect — review them. We don't guarantee outreach results, replies, or hires, and we may change or discontinue features as the product evolves.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Verably's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or claims arising from email you chose to send. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Verably and delete your account at any time (see our privacy policy for how deletion works). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll post the change here with a new date and notify you before it takes effect; continuing to use Verably after that means you accept the change.
