Privacy Policy

Verably is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Verably," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use verably.io, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't sell it, we don't run ads, and we don't track the people you email.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, password (stored as a hash — we never see it), name, job title, and company, plus your plan and settings.

Content you provide. Brand profiles, content library sections, quick links, saved templates, email signatures, your answers to the setup questions, job posting URLs or pasted job descriptions, and any additional context you type into the editor.

Recipient details you choose to add. If you enter a recipient's name to personalize an email or label a follow-up reminder, we store it with that outreach thread. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to use the candidate information you bring to Verably.

Generated content and activity. The emails, social posts, and follow-ups Verably drafts for you; your follow-up schedule and thread status; and usage counts we need to enforce plan limits.

Calendar feed. If you subscribe to your follow-up calendar, we serve your scheduled reminders (including recipient names and role titles you added) at a private link secured by an unguessable token. Anyone with the link can read that feed, so treat it like a password; you can invalidate it and get a new one at any time from the Follow-ups page. We never connect to your calendar account.

Cookies. We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To run the product: drafting your outreach, storing your library, scheduling follow-up reminders, and enforcing plan limits.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To keep the service secure and diagnose failures.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to running Verably.

Where your data goes

Verably is built on a small number of service providers, each receiving only what its job requires:

  • Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication. Your account and everything you store in Verably lives there.
  • Anthropic provides the language model that drafts your outreach. When you generate, we send Anthropic's API what the draft needs: the job details, your selected library sections, your settings and any audience notes, your name, title, and brand voice, and your saved style examples. Rewriting a subject or section sends the current draft; guided setup sends the page text you point us at and your answers to the setup questions. Recipient names are never sent — they're filled in on your device. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
  • Stripe processes payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we store only customer and subscription references, your plan, and its status.
  • Vercel hosts the application and keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request paths) for operations and security.

When you give Verably a URL to read — a job posting or your company's careers page — our server fetches that page to extract its text. We fetch only URLs you provide.

When you design a social post, our server may search Pexels, a stock-photo library, for a generic industry scene (for example, "veterinary clinic exam") to offer as artwork. The search term describes the type of work only — it never includes your name, your company, a candidate, or the job posting itself.

What we deliberately don't do

  • We never add open tracking, click tracking, or any pixel to your emails. What you copy out of Verably is exactly what your recipient gets.
  • We never send email on your behalf. Sending always happens from your own mail client, as your own deliberate act.
  • We never contact the people you write to.

Retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. On the free plan, the app displays your last seven days of generation history; older generations remain stored and become visible again if you upgrade. To delete your account and its data, email us at [CONTACT EMAIL] — we'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, except for records we're legally required to keep (such as billing records).

Your rights

You can access and update most of your information directly in settings. For a copy of your data, a correction we don't expose in the app, or deletion, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.

Children

Verably is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
